238 years of American Wars

HISTORY OF USA WARS DURING LAST 238 YEARS.

Americans got independence on July 4, 1776 from British Government.

From 1775 till to date, during last 238 years wars, historically total 2,717,991 Americans were killed and about 38159 American Army personnel were lost. According to American Army Center for American History, American's foreign involvement and conflicts date back to 1775, even one year earlier than its its independence from British Rule.

USA participated in the first world war (July 28,1914 to Nov. 11, 1918). After destruction of unarmed ships by German Submarines, USA stepped into deadly war. There were total killings of 116,516 Americans. Besides it, 3350 Americans were lost during that war.

According to Michael Oren's book, newspapers and TV reports, USA remained in Vera Cruz war with Mexico in 1914. During this war 22 American Soldiers were killed and 70 were injured. In 1915, USA captured Haiti on the orders of President Wilson for safety of Public sector's interests.

In 1916, USA did an operation against Mexican Revolutionary Forces. In that operation, USA killed 195 people up to 1917. In 1918, USA along with allied forces took part in the Russian Civil War by sending 5000 soldiers. Allied Forces returned back after toppling of Tsar Rule in 1920.

Second World War was fought during 1939-1945. USA stepped into this deadliest war in 1941 after Japanese Forces attack on Pearl Harbour. In this war total 405,399 Americans were killed and 30,314 soldiers were lost.

In Korean War (1950-53), death toll of Americans was 36,568 whereas lost soldiers number went to 4,759 but some other sources claimed that figures as 54,246 and 8,142 respectively.

In 1958, USA intervened in Lebanon Crisis. In 1961, USA made a plan of attack on Cuba over the issue of conflict of Bay of Pigs but did not succeed in removal of Federal Castro.

USA fought Vietnam War during  1959- 1975. In this war, total 58,177 Americans were killed whereas missing Americans toll to 2,489 and wounded soldiers number rose to 153,303. President Jonson sent marines to Dominican Republic to eradicate the
