Execution of Death Sentence is suspended temporarily by Govt. of Pakistan.

Moratorium on execution of 7000 Inmates have been temporarily deferred.

After receiving threats from Taliban and untold pressure from international right groups, Pakistan Government has ordered stay for execution of death sentence to the reportedly 7000 prisoners temporarily. It is being said that the execution was to be performed during this week.

Taliban threatened Government of Pakistan for launching retaliatory attacks on Pakistan interests/ installation if execution is not cancelled. Besides threats of Taliban, pressure from International right groups is the 2nd main reason behind issuing stay order temporary.

At least three millitants from Lashkar e Jhangvi, an anti shia group with links to Al-Qaeda, were among those to be executed next week.
