Population Bomb will shift Pakistan to the 5th rank of most populous country till 2050

Islamabad:

Just 65 years have passed after independence, now Pakistan has been considered as a congested country. Presently, Pakistan stands at the sixth place in the line of most populous countries  in the world. As per record of 2012-13, its population shooted to population of 184.35 million. At this instant, China is no. 1 most populous country followed by India as 2nd most populous country.  If the same rate of population (growth rate of population in 2012-13 is 2.0) is maintained then it is expected that it will attain one above position i.e. 5th position in the world by the end of 2050.

Median age in Pakistan is estimated as 22 years. it has one interesting aspect that Pakistan is a young country. One more beautiful aspect of population is that the working population is 110 million out of 184.35 million, which become 60 per cent of total population. This interesting aspect of population on their work compels to understand that country has abundant economically active human resource which can lift its fortune to the top of the powerful countries.
